Some view from the train window.
It is Sunday again. time flies and looks like I will only have another 4 more days in PG. (Will be flying off again to US for a business trip starting Friday). Started the day by cleaning up the whole house and now it is clean and nice now... :D Only manage to start to process photos around 230pm+ and looks like I will not be able to complete all the photos for the Japan trip (Since I only manage to complete Day 1 today) :"P. Anyway is fine, I will continue when I am back from the trip then. (Which is around middle of December, I apologize to keep you all waiting. :"P).
More photos after the jump...

Train is moving fast
Day 1 is pretty a tiring day since we fly off from PG and transit from SG (around 1am) and seriously, I didn't get a good sleep on the flight that day. Waking up with some panda eyes when the stewardess is serving the breakfast... :"P In the end, I manage to keep myself awake with a cup of coffee.
He is tired...(On our way to the 1st destination)
Going out from the train station
Landed in the the Kansai airport where we will take train to our next destination... Kyoto. Thanks to Alex and 小慧 for getting all the required ticket for us. After settling our luggage on the train. I believe everybody is pretty much fall asleep. For me, I decided to get a few snap in the train before I go and get some rest. (I think I manage to get a small nap before we reach the station).
Hong Wei & Huie Chien. :) Cheers!
Tofokuji Temple is closing by
Alex waiting for the ladies :)
12 of us, carrying our luggage and walking to our hostel. (The K's House). Entering the K house, I think it is a very neat hostel I will say. With a lot of facility ready (like washing/drying machine, kitchen and even wifi). I would highly recommend everybody to go for K's House if you plan to visit to Kyoto. (I think they have it at other major cities in Japan as well). After we settled our luggage, we started our 1st day in Japan.
We are at the temple. :D
I just love the roof. :"D
Our 1st destination is Tofukuji Temple. Along the way to the temple, noticed the nice view there... and realize that the sky are very blue and the lighting is pretty nice. (I will say that it is soft...) ;) manage to get a few snap there before entering the temple. :)
Suddenly I crave for portrait shoot here. :"P
The view at the bridge
Tofukuji Temple is a very hugh temple and I believe that it has been divided into a few section. And all of us has been getting all our gears, snapping here and there. :"P And I manage to get a few portrait for LB, Mun Wai, HW & HC and Lilian as well. :) (Which lead to a small project that I have in this trip in the later stage). :)
Another shoot for LB. :)
The security uncle posing. :D
But one thing to take note on this is the sunlight, sometimes the lighting is going to be harsh and sometimes it is just very nice. (Looks like timing is all we needed here) :"P Before we leave the temple, I noticed one police men and I asked him if I could snap his photo. And out of no where, suddenly he pose for me. :"P (Haha... he is so cute and he remind me of Chin Kok) :"P I quickly snapped a few shoot and thanks him for being kind enough to pose for me. :"D.
Waiting for the train
You could use this to get the water.
After that, we depart to the next destination of ours... the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. It is located on the mountain. Base on the map that is availabel in the Shrine... again it is a hugh one. I think we only stop until the middle of the mountain and didn't proceed further to the top. Because it is getting late as well. But one thing interesting on this shrine is that there are 2 corridors with a lot of Shrine door surrounding it and you will need to choose your path. But no worry, both paths will lead you to the same destination. :)
The Name Plate
The Fox Statue
The Cylinder with Chinese wording on it. :)
There are some ceremony in the Shrine as well, but photographer are not allow to take any photos there. So pretty much there are nothing special to be share there. (Japanese are pretty aware of the privacy, so do remember to ask for permission before you took a photo). :"P
The candle that brighten the dark
Choose your path
Anyway, that's all about Day 1. Sorry that I didn't took the dinner that we ate that day. (I am just too hungry (again) and start eating and knowing that I didn't snapping the food photo) :"P Hehe... Anyway it has been a great day and we have been sleeping like a pig after that until the next day. Day 1 gallery is available here. Hope that you all will enjoy it. (I will end the post with a evening shoot at the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine). Good Night everyone. :)

* Seriously, I have pretty much forget about the name of the location that we have visit. But thanks to ML. (She managed to prepare tones of info in her FB gallery and all I do is just refereed back to the destination name for it). Credit to you ML! :)
