Travel Photography by Chiat Hau Photography (Japan Trip)
Welcome to Kiyomizu Zaka

It has been pretty much some holiday season for everyone of us here. Previously I thought that I could use at least 1/2 day to complete the remaining photos for Day 4. and looks like the devil side of me just conquer over and and asked me to get myself into holiday mood and enjoy the last 2 days. :"P (Looks like I did). Pretty much spent the whole day today to clean up the house. When I about to start to process the photos... Walah... the area has suffered another round of electric interruption of this week. ~:| (Luckily it didn't took like 2-3 hours to solve it) If not I will not be able to complete this album by today. :"D

More Photos after the jump...

On day 4..., we hang around at the Kiyomizu Zaka and Dera. The Kiyomizu Dera is notable for its vast veranda, supported by 139 wooden pillars (each 49 feet high) and yes, all of pillars is hugh and magnificent!

We do also stopped by at Gion. A district of the geisha houses and traditional tea houses. Geisha tends to be pretty active during the evening.(BUT this is not a red-light district). Geisha are entertainers and they entertain their customer with their talents. :)

Our final stop of the is the Teramachi Shopping Arcade. We have our dinner and do some minor shopping here as well. In the shopping arcade, you will be able to eat a lot of local Japanese style food. (and there are very very delicious) :)There are also a lot of souvenirs, shoes, cloth stalls as well. Do remember to check this arcade out since their price is pretty reasonable. :)

A shrine in the Teramachi - MOo... :)

Anyway, I guess that's all for Day 4. We do have a small gathering at the K'House in the evening. I bet everybody did enjoy their selves very much. :D (With tones of food, soft drinks and beers) :"D

Technically / artistically... WELL DONE. I guess everything goes to the basic - a photograph is just about telling people what you see, how you feel at that moment, :)
