Happy (Belated) Wesak Day. :")
I have participated in the 2010 Penang Wesak Procession with the Hokkezan Ichinenji. (As their photographer of the day to cover bits and bits on what is happening on that day). This is my first participation in a Wesak Procession. A very new and fresh experience for me. (I remember I do go and watch a procession but involved in one, this is going to be the first time).
* This are going to be a post with tones of photos in it, and it is going to take some times to load it. Thanks for your patient on this. :")
More photos after the jump... :)
I am not sure but I think this is the first time Hokkezan Ichinenji participate in a Wesak procession as well with their very own flower car! :D I believe everyone has been busy planning and involve in all the prepartion few weeks before the actual event to ensure that it is a successful one. Here are some of the photos before the procession started... you can just feel the anticipation and excitement that everyone have for this procession.

It has been a great night. :) (At least I enjoy it)
It has been a tiring (Hehe LB told me her leg is not her leg anymore) and great night. I hardly walk/jog that much for one whole evening. But I think it is a great experience joining a Wesak procession and feeling the difference feeling as a participants in stead of a viewers. I guess that's all for today. I hope you enjoy the series so far (and I apologize for this late post due to some other pending assignments that need to be completed in advance + some family trips last week).
Anyway, I hope you all have a good Friday evening and a great weekend ahead. Cheers. ;)
* Started to not feeling that well, I think I better go and get some rest now... `;")
I guess I forget to post the link to the whole series. :"P (Thanks to 小慧 for reminding me). For those who are intrested. Here you go.

ReplyDeletethe girl at the front gate... 那位小女孩好像是我古筝同学的女儿,她母亲是慈济的人。她是很可爱,也很乖巧的一位女孩 ^^
Remind me of those Japan summer celebrations! The last time I saw that was 20 years ago!
ReplyDelete家梅: 嘻嘻,没关系。下一回,您也可以参加。真的是不同的感觉。(当您参与时)。那位小女孩好像是我古筝同学的女儿,是真的吗?哈哈,那世界可真小了。:)谢谢。
