On my way to Mishima
After I have been reviewing all the photos, I realized that I could not remember which day and date that I have went to all the places on the remaining of the trip. (Darn me...Haha), I just know that I have not been going out on one of the day due to the rain but then I guess I have forgot which day is that. Anyway is alright I don't think that is that important at all. Guess the tour and places is more important for me now. :")
And on this early morning, I have been getting myself ready to go to Mishima. It is recommended by LB's Japanese peer. So I decided to give it a try. :) So here we go...
More photos after the jump...
Yup pass by a railway
And we are almost there - Oh yeah, that's Georgie baggie. :")
Arrived at Mishima Station
Found this cute figure in front of the stall so I give it a snap. :"D
There are a lot of interesting scene along the way to Mishima. (Yes I am on the bus) It tooks like 30-40minutes to reach Mishima from Gotemba. (yes, the hotel have another free shuttle to send you there as well). :") So the final stop is at the Mishima station. I will need to drop off there and start my journey on foot. :"D
Protected area, I wonder what they have in there.
A construction in progress...
It is still very early and there are not much people on the street (Other than this young fellow)
Found this classic bike. :"D (cool)
and there is a small lorry in the alley
A liquor vending machine.
I am at the junction again. (Emm...)
Found that auntie is waiting for the traffic light to turn green. (Like me)
I arrived pretty early at the station. There is not a lot of people around the area. Seriously I am not sure where I am heading as well. In stead of walking blindly, I just follow the crowd and looks like I am in the right direction. :"P Arrived at the town, a pretty silent town with not a lot of people. So i just wonder around the silent street alone, feeling the another side of japan. :") And slowly the crowd is getting heavier, people is getting themselves ready to go to work. :) And one thing good is that, I finally arrived at a tourist information counter, and they have provided a lot of good information (and map) for me to walk around the town. I seriously need to thanks them for that. They even come after me after I have gone a distance to pass me some entrance discount voucher so that I could have a pleasant trip in Mishima. (Darn, I gotta love how they love their job)
Alright seriously this is in red, and there is only one that I found in Mishima. (Strange enough)
Oh yeah, love the decorative of pots here. :)
Oh yes, their cultural center
I am a hardworking chipmunks!
Some eye of sorrow... ~:(
Walking around in the Mishima, I passed by one of the Rakujuen Park . I decided not to entered it since I think I will need more time to wonder around the town. :"P I entered into their cultural center. (Where all their art/music performance is held there). There are a lot of shops beside the street, and one of the pet shop catch my attentions and I decided to stop by and check it out. :) Found some chipmunks, birdie as well as one and only dog there. (And yes, a poor dog, seems like he is hoping that I could get him out from the cage ~~: ( ).
Here is another attraction in Mishima - Water Well
Near by an old lady is getting ready for their business
Some small waterfall in this garden
Seriously I met this lady 5 times on that day, she is walking around the town doing some survey as well.
A shop selling rice. Pretty interesting in deed.
I always love this. (Somehow...) :")
Some praying ceremony is in progress
Welcome to the Mishima Taisha Shrine
Oh yeah champion for Japan!
A sign of peace I found in the temple
Guess this is where they sell their liquor?
Found this lovely flower beside the road. :)
LB's favourite food. Tako! :")
Granny and Grandchild. :)
Awaiting
Rushing
This is one of the lamp in MOS burger. :") - Having my lunch here. :)
It is pretty tired walking around the town, I have been to the water well, the garden and also the Taisha Shrine in Mishima. I planned to go to the Mount Fuji viewing point, but I think it is just too far away for me to go via foot, so in the end, I called it a day and went back to Gotemba for some rest. :"P (Guess I am just a lazy bump x"P)
Oh yes, shadow of Mount Fuji in view. :) Lovely
Some almost sunset view at some housing area there
Most of the shop is close. :)
Arriving back in Gotemba, I decided to get some rest and come out for some bicycle ride in the evening. And yes, I think I have made the right decision doing so. I saw the shadow of the Mount Fuji as the view and I have cycling around in the neighborhood near by to get some shoot as well. :)
Yes! the clay workshop. - The gentleman is the sensei for the class
Getting started to create a masterpiece
And yes, finally I saw the clay workshop in progress. Standing outside the wooden workshop for sometimes, and finally I have requested his permission to come in to get some shoot of the class. All the ladies in the class has been very polite and say hi to me... :") I am glad that they allowed me to come in to get some shoot while the class is in progress. Anyway I left the class with many thanks to all of them after 5 minutes. :") (All of them are just friendly, very friendly in deed). :")
Yes, the view from the mountain.
Some wide angle view. (those rounded roof house is actually some resort in the hotel)
The bell of love again (evening view). :"P
After getting out from the workshop, I decided to go up the hill again. finding that the view and the color of the sky is just magnificent. Standing there viewing and enjoying the cold breeze and slowly seeing the sun setting down the horizon. :) It is just so... relaxing. :)
Yes, they have a GO GO Japan banner just outside the hotel. :)
One final shoot of the day before I go for dinner. ;) (The board is lighted up with wireless flash) ;")
I guess that's end up the day pretty well. I kinda fall in love with this place after a few days. I started by feeling gloomy due to the rain and slowly after some discovery and all sorts. I think that it is actually a very peaceful and beautiful place. Love it a lot. :) Anyway, I guess that's all I have for tonight. A pretty long post (And I apologize if the post keep you all waiting due to the loading). No matter what, I hope you all enjoy it so far.
Have a great night people and for those who are not working tomorrow. Happy long holiday. ;) Cheers.
