Waking Up in Vegas

To Vegas!!
We have talking about visiting Las Vegas for quite sometimes. What I heard so far about Vegas is it is hot, full with neon lights, life only start after 12am (Sounds like Vampire to me) and also the smacking cards that you will see along the street. Anyway, I am very happy that finally we have got a plan to go there during one of the weekend. Previously, we are planning on a rotation driving since it is going to be a 6 hours drive and we are departing from AZ on 6pm evening. But in the end, Way Chiang has really put it through and drove the 6 hours while me sitting beside him chatting with him (and sometimes fall asleep ~x|) to ensure that he is alright to drive a long the way. Anyway, here we are, our adventure to Vegas!! ;)

More photos after the jump...

The night view at Hoover Dam
Anyway traffic has been pretty smooth (and slow) along the way we are there. The scenery has been getting from a colorful city and slowly turn into some pitch black dessert view. (Way Chiang told us that one of the police truck even has flashed inside the car to check out if everything is alright). I bet the policemen saw there is only one driver and 3 meat balls that are sleeping at the moment he flashed into the ride. :"P We have do have quick stop and have a peep on how the Hoover Dam will looks like in the night. The view is just awesome. (At least I like it a lot!)

Reaching in Vegas. After we have check into the Travelouge (The price of this motel is pretty good plus it is located along the most happening street in Vegas - Oh ya, it has free WiFi as well. :"D). We decided to go out for a walk since we are hungry. (So 4 hungry people went out and hunt for food). In the end, we ended up with the Korean food which taste not bad at all. :"D We went for a quick walk around the street near by just to have a feel of Vegas at 1am++. Which is pretty nice actually and then went back to our motel to get a good rest and ready for our day tomorrow. :"D

On the next day, we wake up pretty early to get out from the room to take some shoot here and there at the motel. :"P (Me and Way Chiang have turn into paparazzi at that moment, haha). Anyway we started our day going to both the outlets in Vegas. Yes tones of shopping to be done, so you will notice that most of the scenery is shoot inside the car. :"P

Yeah great dinner - but we are a bit disappointed with the service. :"|
After the shopping session, we have decided to start our evening walk along the street in Vegas. Starting by getting ourself feed + watching some of the show performance at each of the casino. I think our first stop is at treasure island. I think the show at treasure island is pretty awesome. We also met with an Indian lady who is staying in Orange country told us that we should go and watch the circus in any of the casino. (She said we should go even though we need to pay). So ladies and gents remember to go and watch the circus if you are there. (We have missed it!) :"P

The other attractions that we go to is the Venetian. I will say that the view inside there are very very awesome! (It has an artificial blue sky in the casino) and there is actually a small river where there will be boat bringing people along the river and sings for a while when they have a quick stop. :) And finally we have our final stop at Bellagio where the famous water fountain show is being presented. I am amaze with this show. You will need to see how high the water could splash! (I bet it is almost the height of the building!) and the other thing I like about the water fountain show is that... at the evey end of the show... the water splash will slowly come back down to the pond and when winds blow, you could feel the small water splashes on your skin. It is just so cooling. :)

Resting and laying at the car park for one final shoot.
Anyway, we have a pretty great night that day in Vegas. All of us have been very very tired after we got back. But me and Way Chiang still got the feeling to party? (I am not sure...) so both of us have went out and get some lemonade and Mc Nuggets to munch... x"D (hahah!) and then rest after our small supper. x"D

Alright folks..., there goes the day I have in Vegas... more takes on the next post at Hoover Dam. I hope that you all have enjoy our story in Vegas so far... As usual, What happen in Vegas, Stay in Vegas. Night people. :)

  4. A real big city! :) They allowed you to take photos in the casino? Or it's a no-no thing to do?

  5. Joel: Yes we did go to both of the outlets. But as usual, when shopping started, no photography will take place. x"P

    家梅: 真的很多东西看。您不会变山芭佬,只是您会慢慢的看着一个城市是多么的大和精彩。

Lilian: TQ TQ so so much for all the kind comments. :")

B&G: Yes it is a HUGH city. Actually they don't allow you to take photo in the casino. (I only got to know about that when I got back from there - my peers told me that they won't allow that, but I feel that they are not that strict either bet just need to be careful or not doing it at all).
