CNY 2011 - The Three Masketeers

Portrait Photography by Chiat Hau Photography (Chinese New Year 2011 The 3 Masketeers)

During the Chinese New Year (CNY) back in Alor Setar (AS). I have spend quite a lot of times with brother's kids (Yeah the 3 of them). I think it has been another fun part for me since I do not have a lot of times to play and mix with them normally. Guess the only time that I could spend a longer time with them is during CNY (A long holiday for me). So I decided to get my camera out to shoot some photos for them, while they are at play, at bath(?) and have fun! :)

More photos after the jump...

All of them have been very very into the swing that is at the AS home. We do have a lot of childhood memory at that swing where we usually will play at the swing and then will see whose shoes will be the last shoe remain at the swing. :) And for them, I bet they are just enjoying the joyride. And they will just summon the "Su Su" (aka uncle) to push the swing for them, and then they will just shouting like they are just having a roller coaster ride of their life. ~:| (But from the laughter that they have I know that they are enjoying it very much) :)

They usually do have their own sweet time in the house as well, watching their favorite TV show or playing their puzzles and games. :) And of course, I could I miss out the opportunity to take photos for them while they are bathing. :"P (Looks like Qian has been the victim for this one) :"D Hehe... since I just got back home and saw him just started to get his bath. I still could remember that we still could see our bathing photos in some of the Old family album that is still in the rack. :"D Probably all these photos will be one of them in their family photo in the future. :)

And of course, we do have our family dinner at one of the famous Thai food restaurant in Jitra. All of them have nicely dress up for the dinner. (Hehe...) All of them are just cute and during the night, we do let them play with a bit of the fireworks so that they do have a bit of the childhood memories that we used to have last time. (I still remember that, during our era, you could just hear loud bang here and there during the CNY in the neighborhood, I personally think that I could feel the CNY atmosphere better while I am still a kid. :"P Haha). But too bad, Earn is having some slight fever and he didn't join us that day. Poor kid, but still he still have the a good smile even though he is sick. :)

All the photos are from a 2 days photo shooting compilation. Just hope that this will served as a good memories for the kids in the future and hope that you all have enjoy it as well. :) Anyway, I just know that I did have fun with all of them during the CNY. Still a few days more before the CNY end. I hope that everyone is still having a great one even though most of us has started our (working) engine. Have a great night people. :) Signing off...

  1. Haha, yea, I also feel that my childhood CNY is not that fun too, as I used to argue very much with my cousins from Malacca and I cried in the end. XD
In fact, I don't like CNY since I was small, even until now... But I still enjoy it and I feel that it is a must to celebrate CNY, because it's our culture, the culture of Chinese ^^

  2. Haha... those are some good childhood memory I will say. :)But I think CNY is the longest holiday for us. So no matter what I think it is still a good time to rest and get some good times with friends and family. :)
