A Visit to Penang Toy Museum

Event Photography by Chiat Hau Photography (Penang Toy Museum)

It feels kinda weird that LB purpose to go to the Penang Toy Museum last weekend. I kinda know about this place. Just that I never been there before (Even though I have been in PG for so many years). Personally I think that the place is not worth a visit since I think it will not have much thingie that I will wanna see there (Yeah kinda think that what type of collection they will have in such a small place). Anyway since I never been there, we decided to pay there a visit.

More photos after the jump...

And surprisingly. There are quite a collection there! all type of toys, version and generations! And also they do also have some quite bigger size figures from movie (Where it do really grab my attention).

I love specially the horror section, it gives me a creepy feel somehow in that area. Specially when you look at all those familiar characters that you have seen in all the horror movie. and seems like everyone is staring at you. :"P

Anyway, it is an eye opener for me after the visit to the Penang Toy Museum. Just on a slightly down side is that, the museum is not really well maintain and the case that store the toys (or collections) is just a very small piece of plastic which cannot really secure the weight of the adults. (So, do be careful not to lean towards the cupboard). Some of the toys have not been nicely arrange, so probably the owner should take some time out to rearrange the toys as well. If not the hugh collection in there do really worth it for those who like toys and figure (Someone like me).

Anyway, it is a small series for this visit. For those who are interested. The entrance fee for the museum is RM10 for Malaysian and it is open from 8AM - 9PM everyday. I guess that's all for tonight. I hope that you all will enjoy this series have a great night ahead. Signing off... ;)

  4. I have visited there once few years back. I was surprised by the collections over there too. Just that, I don't really watch a lot of movies / cartoons, so I didn't know about many of the figures over there. =.=
