It is s gloomy Saturday, where the day has started to rain once I have picked up Chian Le (As usual, he is still my best lighting assistance for most of the shoot) and get ourself ready for another documentary portrait shoot for 5 tenants at the Armenian Street who has received and undergo some home restoration to preserved the look and feel of the old Penang Armenia Street with the help from ThinkCity.
More photos after the jump…
I am always glad that I could par take in some of the documentary project. Specially when it involved portrait shoot. Where I will have a chance to go out, social and understand the lifes and stories of people. You could learn and understand from all those conversation, how people live and earn a living. From there, you will cherish what you have more and a also understand the specialness of a street for a town that you been crossing for some many times.
Photo shooting for the tenant has been really great, where they have really understand what's the whole documentary about and have give their full corporative to get everything going smoothly and successfully (And I am glad that I manage to get some quick portrait for the project organiser and sponsor as well). I believe It will mean a lot for them when they look back again on all the photos and videos 10 years later. At least they will remember that there is one neighbourhood, some friends and neighbours with that faces before. :)
A small series, probably this will be the last post for October and I believe there will be more photos to come when I am back from my trip. :) And yes, finally some fruitful rest and I could just temporary leave everything behind, recharge myself, rest my mind and probably I will have more new ideas coming out after that. (Haha…) Anyway I am really looking forward for these trip. I hope that all of you have enjoy this post. Special thanks to Chian Le again for helping out that day. And I am very glad to make a few new friends as well on that. As usual, LIFE IS GOOD! :) Have a great night everyone. (And Happy Halloween and Happy Dewali to all the friends who celebrate it next week)
